Welcome to the official web site for the Circuit Court of Cook County, the largest judicial circuit in the State of Illinois and one of the largest unified court systems in the world.
The Circuit Court of Cook County is a trial court of general jurisdiction that serves Cook County's 5.1 million residents. The court is comprised of more than 400 judges assigned among eight divisions and six suburban municipal districts. More than 2.4 million new cases are filed annually.
